HISTORY

DPS NOIDA is run by the Delhi Public School Society registered under the Societies Act, 1860. A momentous beginning was made on July 5th, 1982 through the initiative and leadership of the founder Principal, Shri. S.L. Dhawan, when more than 15 acres of barren land found was transformed into a learner’s paradise, DPS NOIDA. It is a unique architectural marvel, with an arched entrance, open terraces; airy and well lit classrooms, sprawling lawns and much more.

MISSION

Today, under the aegis of Principal, Mrs. Nina Sehgal, DPS NOIDA has an intellectual framework, which is an endearing mix of old and new, traditional and modern. It is characterized by openness, the openness symbolizing the corresponding openness of mind. The total strength of the school, which is approximately 4000 students, reflects the goodwill and reputation enjoyed by the school in Noida and around.

GOAL

We at DPS NOIDA believe that the greater gifts we can give our children are roots and wings - roots steeped in tradition, wings of independence to help them explore their own self and beyond. We make every effort to impart wholesome, value-based quality education coupled with enough mental and physical space for real growth. Responding to the needs of the Net Millenium, the I.T. skills of the children are developed and honed. Our aim is to bring out worthy ‘citizens of the world’ who ‘think Indian but act global’.
