Please note that the school will observe “Diwali Holidays” for 9 days from  3rd Nov.’07 (Saturday) to 11th Nov.’07 (Sunday).

Since two normal school working days i.e. 5th & 6th Nov.’ 07, have been included to have continuous holidays for 9 days, the same will be compensated by working extra on two Saturdays. Accordingly, it will be normal school working days on 27th Oct.’ 07 and 17th Nov.’07 (both Saturdays). Your wards may be specifically informed that the Time Table of Thursday and Monday will be observed on   27th Oct.’07 and 17th Nov.’07 respectively.

The P.T.A. scheduled for Classes Nursery to V on 3rd Nov.’ 07 is pre-poned to  27th Oct.’07. As it is a normal working day for the students the Report Cards will be handed over to the parents according to the staggered timings given below: -
                                                                                      

The winter uniform is available in the school uniform shop from 27th Oct.’ 07.

The next scheduled dates for the Theatre Workshop in the month of  July are as follows:

• 21.7.07  (Saturday)
• 22.7.07 (Sunday)
• 28.7.07 (Saturday)
• 29.7.07 (Sunday)

Kindly note the following:-

• The timings for the workshop will be from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
• The children should report in the M.P Hall  at 7:45 a.m. sharp.
• The parents are expected to pick their wards (using private transport) from Gate No. 3 at 11:15 a.m.
• On Sundays all children should be picked from Gate Mo. 3.
• Buses will ply on routes fixed earlier on Saturdays. The buses will not ply on Sundays.
• Children can carry a light snack and their water bottles.

The PTA meeting for Classes Nursery to II has been postponed. The date and timings will be intimated later. Saturday, 20^th January, 2007 would be a fun rehearsal day for children of Classes Nursery to II who are participating in the Annual Field Display scheduled for February 3, 2007 from 8.45 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. The bus routes and timings for the same are being sent alongside.

Please note that the winter vacation will start from 22.12.2006 instead of 23.12.2006. Accordingly the school will remain closed for winter vacation from 22.12.2006 to 07.01.2007. The school will re-open on 08.12.2007 and the Pre-board Examination for Classes X & XII will start from 09.01.2007 as scheduled earlier.

Notice regarding objection invited in respect of exemption of P.F. under EPF & MP Act by any of the employee of DPS Noida, Greater Noida & DPS Bulandshahr.

DPS Noida intends to obtain exemption under section 17(1) (A) of the EPF & MP Act para 27A scheme. The trust established and running is seeking exemption from the appropriate authority.

The rules of the trust will provide benefit to the members/employees at par with that available with un-exempted establishment.

In case any employee has any objection, they may place them on record with in 30 days of this notice.

Dear Parents,

You are already aware of the ongoing conflict between the U.P Govt. and DTC because of which the DTC has discontinued its operations in Noida. The school is in the process of exploring alternate options of providing transport to those commuting to school by DTC buses. Till such time that the matter is resolved, the parents of children using DTC school buses are requested to make their own arrangements to drop and pick their wards. We observed a major congestion at school gates Nos. 1,2 & 3 today because of an increase in the vehicular traffic due to the aforementioned reason. To ensure that there is a smooth movement of traffic and no accident takes place, we request parents of children using DTC buses to adhere to the following instructions:

· All parents of children commuting by DTC school buses from Classes I to XII to drop their ward between 7.50 a.m. and 8 a.m. using gate No.5 only. Parents to personally hand over their ward to the concerned teacher in the Basket-Ball Court adjacent to Gate No. 5.

· In the afternoon they can pick up their ward from the same place i.e. the Basket-Ball Court parking their vehicle at Gate No. 5 only at 1.45 p.m. sharp. This does not apply to students of Class I for their afternoon bus route because all Jr. bus routes plying in the afternoon at 12.45 p.m. are non- DTC buses.

These staggered timings have been scheduled to avoid unnecessary congestion of traffic till such time that the matter is suitably resolved. It is also suggested that parents may form car pools wherever possible

Because of the conflict between U.P. Govt. and DTC, the school buses run by DTC shall not be plying within the Noida till the matter is resolved. All children commuting to school by DTC Buses shall have to make their own arrangements to and from school for Monday, November 20, 2006 and the following days till further notice.

Children would be informed if some alternative arrangements were made.
